Love Your Neighbor Summer Outreach, July 24-26
Love Your Neighbor Summer Outreach is happening July 24-26. We are partnering with Convoy of Hope and several other churches in Tallahassee to distribute groceries at an apartment complex close to our church, and we are hosting a block party, with food, bounce houses, prayer and evangelism tent, and kids’ ministry, on Saturday, July 26.

Evangelism Training Session with Joe Oden
Friday, June 27, 6 PM-9 PM
To prepare for the outreach, we are also hosting an evangelism training on Friday, June 27, at 6 PM, with special guest Joe Oden, national prayer and evangelism director for the Assemblies of God (via livestream). Other local churches and their volunteers will attend this training along with our congregation. Joe Oden burns for revival and awakening. He was saved and delivered from drugs during the Brownsville Revival, and he has never been the same. Joe has spent the last twenty-five years traveling throughout America and the world, equipping and mobilizing the body of Christ to share the gospel and reach the lost. He currently serves as the national prayer and evangelism director for the Assemblies of God; director of the Assemblies of God World Prayer Center. Young Adult Movie Night, June 13
Young Adults age 18 to 25, come to the movie night (nachos included!) on June 13 at 6 PM at the church. And vote for Pedro.
Register your kids for VBS July 13-16
Imagine a week where kids not only hear about Jesus’ love but also learn to express that love through their actions. By the end of Freedom Church VBS, they’ll walk away with tangible ways to love like Jesus and live like Jesus by praying, loving, serving, forgiving, and showing simple acts of kindness. Freedom Saints June 29
Freedom Saints (50+) will have their monthly fellowship luncheon on Sunday, June 29, 11:30 AM. Come enjoy fellowship and food with friends! We’re not having a luncheon at the church but instead will be going to a restaurant following the morning service. Register at freedomchurch.life/signup.

Summer Schedule Continues
One Sunday Service at 10 AM, and Discipleship Classes at 9 AM
On Sunday, June 1, we launched our new summer schedule with one Sunday service at 10 AM. Our discipleship classes shifted to 9 AM. This allows our Serve teams a season of rest and provides other serving opportunities for summer ministries like Vacation Bible School and outreaches.
Continuing through August 31, our summer service schedule will be as follows:
Sundays (One Worship Service)
- 9 AM Discipleship Classes
- 10 AM Worship Service
Wednesdays
- 6:45 PM All Classes and Services
- Our Wednesday night classes and services will not change.
Let’s continue to love our neighbors and be the light to those around us. We are praying that this season will be refreshing for our entire church body.
